Konig Diamond Pattern Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2022 Toyota Tundra- Video
Today, we have a 2022 Toyota Tundra, and we're gonna be taking a look at the Konig XD16 Snow Tire Chains. These are gonna be a little bit different than your standard ladder pattern style chains, and what makes it different is we don't just have cross chains going across, we have a little diamond pattern right here. We also have cross chains right here, which is gonna help us if we do put them on the front or the rear, but we do wanna make sure to check our owner's manual and make sure that we're putting them on the correct wheels. Right here we're on the back, but these are gonna have smaller link sizes, so it is gonna give us a little bit smoother ride, especially compared to the ladder pattern styles. Half the time we're hitting tire, then chain, then tire, then chain. Right here, if you noticed, we just have a lot of chain on our tire, so we're not gonna be feeling those bumps near as much compared to the ladder pattern style. more

Today we're gonna be putting the pewag All Square Snow Tire Chains with Cam Tensioners on our 2022 Toyota Tundra. These chains are probably gonna give you the best traction compared to any of the other options on your site besides the V-bar. The V-bar snow tire chains are gonna be the most aggressive, but I think this is probably the better option, especially if you're the person who puts them on before you go out, because the V-bars are really gonna tear up your concrete a little bit, so be mindful of that. Or if half the time when you put them on, it's not a whole lot of snow, you might wanna go with these so you're not tearing up the road, But these are pretty big, seven millimeter links. So these are pretty big compared to all the other ones that you have on the site. And they do fit pretty well. more

What you see here is a ladder pattern style chain, and that's just because we have these bigger gaps right here. So this is gonna be a little bit more rougher of a ride compared to the diamond pattern chains. Just because sometimes we're gonna go from tire to chain from tire to chain. But that's not a huge issue because there is gonna be snow on the ground as well. So there's another option that's a twist link just like this and then the same size, but these are gonna have the B-bars on them. more

Today, we're test fitting the Glacier Chain Twist Link Snow Tire chains on our 2022 Toyota Tundra. These are a ladder pattern style chain. So we're just gonna have cross chains going across. So this is gonna be a little bit more rough of a ride, compared to some of the diagonal-type chains. But since we have a twist-link here, this is gonna be a little bit more smoother than some of the bigger square links that you may have on your options on our website. These are made of a low-carbon steel, so they're not as tough as some of the manganese-nickel alloy steels, but they're still going to last quite a long time. more

The V-Bar styles are exactly like this, but just with the little dagger in there so if you have a little bit more heavier conditions, you might want to check the V-Bar style out.These, I think are going to give you the best of both worlds. Now the tire size on our Tundra today is 275/55R20.Now, one thing I really like about these chains is that they have a really snug fit on our tire, thanks to our self-tensioning system that's built-in to the chain. It makes sure that our chains are snug against the tire. You don't have to worry about getting a separate rubber adjuster to put on your chain to keep it snug. It's going to be built-in, you never have to worry about losing it, and you're always going to get a snug fit.These chains have a diamond pattern to them. That's going to give you more coverage around the tire and thus give you better traction when you compare it to a ladder pattern style chain. more

Today on this 2008 Toyota Tundra, we're going to be taking a look at the Titan Chain Alloy Snow tire Chains with a ladder pattern, part number TC2228SCAM, and this is 1 pair. Today we're working with tire size 275/65/R18s. If chains we have here are not fitting properly on your vehicle, double check the tire size because you may have the wrong one, and then go on our website and you'll find the right size. Now, before we actually start them on our vehicle, you want to actually lay out the tire chains nice and flat to make sure it's going to go on properly. You can see it has the ladder pattern here that we mentioned earlier. We want to make sure these hooks here, the flat side is going to face against the tire so we don't damage the tire while putting these on. You also see that we have the cams here, which are going to give the tension we need to wrap around our tire. It has a manganese nickel alloy construction, which makes the chains exceptionally strong and durable to cut through that snow and ice to make for a much safer ride in your vehicle. Let's go ahead and put them on. We had these draped specifically so we can just lift them up, set them on our tire. more

Today on our 2008 Toyota Tundra, we're going to be taking a look at the Titan Snow Tire Chains with the V-Bar Links, part #TC2828CAM, and this is one pair. Today we're going to be working with tire size 275 65 R18s. If these tire chains do not fit your tires, you might want to double check with our website and double check your tire size to make sure you have the right ones. Before we actually install these onto your tire, let's go ahead and look at some of the features while we have this laid out. First off, you want to do this anyway, just to make sure there is no kinks in the chains before you put them on. As you can see, it has this ladder patterns here, as described on our website and also, it has these V-bar links, which you can see at the tops here. That's what is going to help you get a little bit extra effort to break apart that ice and snow while you're driving, to make for a much safer drive. Also, I would like to point out, you see these hooks on the outside, make sure they're facing out, away from the tire, that the flat portions go against the tire. Of course, we also have our can tensioner and that's going to help tighten these around your tires, while you drive. Next, we'll go ahead and just put this over our tire. more

If these tire chains don't fit with your particular tires, double check the size and then go to our website to find the proper setting. Before we actually put this on the tire, we're going to set them on the ground, kind of get all the kinks and stuff out of them so it's all set to go. I would like to point out a few things, first being how the links work. These are twist links and that's going to give you really good grip in deep snow and really adequate grip on the ice.
